Description:

SUU Hope Corps is a branch of the SUU Entrepreneurship Center. Due to COVID-19 many small businesses are struggling to stay in business. This position will involve working directly with SUU’s Entrepreneurship Center to assist local businesses with their unique needs with web page development.

This position is a summer internship in Cedar from May to August. We are seeking students that can start employment immediately.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience creating e-commerce websites with the following platforms: Shopify, Wordpress, Squarespace, and Wix.
  • Functional knowledge with User Experience and User Interface design.
  • Basic understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript, and any other necessary coding needed to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to research and solve problems clients face quickly and efficiently.
  • Multi-task and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to teach clients how to maintain and update their website.
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong people/customer service skills required.
  • Sample of previous work (websites built, please attach links to websites in resume).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic photo editing skills.
  • Junior or Senior student.
